Warming Up

Unfortunately winter is right around the corner.
In searching for coats to warm me up in the cold Canadian winter I have found some treasures. Check it out…

Soia & Kyo: is an amazing high quality collection. In the Winter 08 assortment you can find from cropped jackets to trench coats available in a variety of colours and patterns.
My favorite styles are the double-breasted cropped gray jacket Giselle, and the double-breasted black and white patterned jacket Gemma.
The Soia & Kyo collection can be found in stores such as Over the Rainbow (101 Yorkville Av.), Girl Friday (740 Queen St. W.) and Mendocino. Starting October 1st you can also buy online http://www.soiakyo.com/ and the prices at the stores vary from $300 to $400.

Mackage: is also a high quality line but the difference is in the leather details and higher price points. My favorite styles are the black double-breasted coat Alison, the white and black jacket Sidonie and the checked brown coat Olia. The Mackage collection can also be found in stores such as Mendocino and Holt Henfrew.

Full Circle: a less detailed yet great style coat brand to be found in stores such as Mendocino and Urban Outfitters. The prices are a bit more accessible than Soia & Kyo and Mackage. I do not have any pictures but you can check it out in stores near you.
