MIMO (meaningful ideas for meaningful objects)

MIMO - meaningful ideas for meaningful objects - is a new brand that is committed to the society. The purpose of the brand is to create one-of-a-kind pieces with social responsibility where a percentage of the sales go to a local charity.
The first line of T-shirts was inspired by '20s glamour and by romantic Paris. To get the romantic look MIMO used a combination of lace and colour contrast. Keep tuned in the next styles.

Spring 07 Inspiration

“Urban Oasis” trend board talks to all elements of the Spring Summer 07 “new minimalism” style. The new trend brought to life a refined colour palette, with clean lines, anatomical silhouettes and a modern new sporty look. The colour palette is quite subtle, shades of white, grays, beiges and browns are the perfect combination for this new elegant style.
The shapes of the garment were changed to the extreme this season, it went from tight leggings to loose fitted masculine tailored trousers. The length of the bottoms was also changed, the pieces went from short to “mini”, from long to below-the-knee –as per Jacobs’ men’s tailored capri.
A twist to the sporty look was shown in Marni, Marc Jacobs, Dries Van Noten, and Galtier collections. Pieces like the layered t-shirts mini-dresses, tunics with leggings, hoodies and track pants are the must have of the season.
