Most Brazilians are very superstitious and a big one this time of year is what colour to wear when celebrating the New Year. Some people might even choose a new undie on their colour of choice to begin 2012 in a good note. This is an old Brazilian folklore that we thought it would be interesting to share.....

White: it's the most popular choice as it brings the idea of peace, truth, tranquility and it helps the balance within yourself.

Great tip here is to accessorize the white with coloured pieces like red shoes and red belt

Yellow: relates to wealth and wisdom.

Red: relates to passion, strength and energy. If you want to have just a touch of red, have your nails in the colour.

Branco: traz a ideia de paz, verdade, sabedoria e calma. 

Amarelo: remete a riqueza, sabedoria, dinheiro e o despertar da intuição.

Laranja: a cor laranja  está ligada nas conquistas pessoais e profissionais. Além de estar ligado também a ajuda monetária.

Violeta: traz  inspiração, imaginação e estabilidade. Esta cor também eleva a auto-estima e ajuda a manter o foco de um objetivo.
