To my surprise, clogs-inspired footwear were seen everywhere in the spring 2010 runways. From Chanel to Louis Vuitton, the wooden clogs came along with the ‘farm & country’ trend and have inspired many designers. LV showed the newest look, a clog inspired wooden bottom boot with a kitten heel and fur trim. The clog were shown in many colours suedes- beiges, reds and blacks. Basic silver studs, floral appliqués, beading embroidery were the details on the new trend.
I know it is hard to believe but many mass merchants - even in Canada - are investing on the clog. Believe me, you will see in stores sooner than you think…. Maybe by then you are ready to embrace the new trend. I know one thing, I won’t!!!

In my constant search to feed my love for decoration, design, styling, accessories & fashion, I surf the web quite a lot and I always find useful ideas….as I’ve been asked to share not only my passion for fashion but also my love for pretty things so I’ve decided to use this space to post all the things that I love, my experiments and I hope somebody out there can find some useful ideas here.
Let me know… and share your love with pretty things too.

Shoes in the World
I am sorry that it's been a long time since I've last posted anything here. I am now working as a footwear product developer helping companies like Sears, HBC, Zellers and Wal-Mart to build their private brand footwear line. I absolutely LOVE my job...to say the least. See attached some examples of what I've been helping to develop while working at The Shoe Group
