Based on the highly successful Versace collection for H&M this past season, the Italian power house Marni will be next in line to launch an affordable Spring collection for the international Retailer. Marni, known by its elegant cuts and bold prints, will for sure be another success for the store. The capsule collection will be launch on March 8th, 2012 in 260 stores worldwide. I am not the kind of girl that waits in line for anything but I can assure you that I am tempted to be there for Marni... I looove them!

Baseada no sucesso da coleção da Versace para a H&M, a marca italiana Marni anunciou que vai unir forças com a H&M e também vai lançar uma coleção cápsula para o próximo verão. O diretor criativo da Marni, Castiglioni, promete manter a essência da marca, conhecida pelo corte elegante e estampas fortes. A coleção está prevista para ser lançada dia 8 de Março em 260 lojas espalhadas pelo mundo. Olha, não sou o tipo de garota que fica em fila lotada se empurrando para comprar uma blusinha, mas pela MARNI, todo esse meu discurso 'chique vai por água abaixo...hahaha Dessa vez, me esperem pois eu estarei sim na fila batalhando por uma pecinha exclusiva por um precinho camarada....

RESTAURANT TIP OF THE WEEK: BLOOM

This is a Restaurant tip for the Torontonians ;-)

Today I tried a very nice Restaurant for lunch, and I was happily surprised!! Not only the food was amazing ( I had Squash soup and as a main Shitake Ravioli), but the place is very pretty and the owner- Pedro Quintanilla - ADORABLE. The name of the Restaurant is BLOOM and is located on 2315 Bloor St (Between Durie and Windermere). Next time you are around Bloor West village, give this Restaurant a try and be surprised by the delicious menu and amazing atmosphere. Beijao, Paula

Hoje eu fui almocar fora com minha filha e resolvi experimentar um Restaurante que sempre me "paquerava" mas eu nunca tinha dado uma chance ;-) E te digo que fiquei muiiiito surpresa e satisfeita, comida maravilhosa ( pedi sopa de Squash e como prato principal, Ravioli de Shitake), lugar lindo e o dono encantador!!!!! The news today is that Rihanna partnered with Georgio Armani to launched a capsule collection for Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear. Rihanna's debut fashion line will feature denim, lingerie, biker leather jackets, t-shirts and a canvas rucksack...The only item missing is her "umbrella"....lol. Her collection will be available mid November just in time for the Holiday shopping. xx

MIRROR, MIRROR LET ME KNOW....

A while back I've posted here some amazing outfits for the new movie "Mirror, Mirror", an adaptation of  'Snow White" fairy tale with Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Lilly Collins as the Snow White. What I didn't know was that the "competition" will be fierce as "Snow White and the Huntsmen", another (darker) adaptation with Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen, will hit the silver screen on the summer of 2012. BENETTON CONTROVERSIAL KISSING AD

Is a media buzz enough to revamp sales of an aging brand? The Italian brand Benetton, known by its controversial advertisements in the past, believes so. They launched this week the UNHATE ad campaign, showing global leaders kissing! Among others, President Barack Obama locks lips with China's Hu Jintao and with Venezuela's Hugo Chávez while the image of Pope Benedict XVI embracing Sheik Ahmed al-Tayeb got a quick (negative) reaction from the Vatican. Creative, to say the least! And It got us talking! Only time will now tell the impact it will have on sales! Xoxo, Fabi.

Falem  bem ou falem mal, mas falem de mim! Não é esta a máxima que fez a marca italiana Benetton mundialmente famosa nos anos 80 e 90, através de suas campanhas controversas? Pois a Benetton lançou nesta semana a campanha UNHATE, mostrando líderes mundias trocando calorosos beijos! Barack Obama e visto com o líder Chines Hi Juntao e com o Venezuelano Hugo Chaves, enquanto o beijo do Papa com o sheik Ahmed-alTayeb provocou uma reação quase imediata do Vaticano. (negativa, e claro). Criativa no mínimo, somente o tempo dirá se a campanha vai ajudar a relançar a marca, mas que pelo menos nos deixou falando, há isto deixou! Beijos, Fabi.

O ano passou tão rápido que não consegui realizar que em breve, digo, muito em breve, o bom velhinho estará de volta e eu, a Mamãe Noel da família Papa, vou precisar enfrentar shoppings lotados com filas em todo lugar....aff. Remember when we showed here that awesome video from LANVIN fall/11 campaign, with the two models dancing? Well, it was such a success that they used that inspiration to create their windows. Lembram quando a gente mostrou aqui aquele vídeo MARA da campanha de fall/11 da LANVIN,com as duas modelos dançando? ( uma delas, a loira, nossa prata da casa Raquel Zimermman :-)) Então, o sucesso foi tanto que eles usaram o vídeo como inspiracão na hora de criar as vitrines da loja. Os manequins  estão dançando e segurando uma TV de plasma que passa o clip BAPHO sem parar!!!! Confiram as fotos, AMEI!!!!!
